  • Take a boat ride – indulge in a cruise of the Kalang & Bellinger on the Water Rat or hire a boat from Anchors Wharf
  • Go for a walk - along the Urunga Boardwalk & on to Hungry Head or visit Bongil Bongil National Park
  • Hire a canoe and take in the birdlife along the banks of the Bellinger River
  • Learn Ballroom dancing – contact either the Urunga Bowling Club or the Mylestom Bowling Club for details
  • Swim laps at Mylestom River pool or at Urunga Lagoon
  • Go skating – there are skateboarding parks at Mylestom as well as Urunga
  • Race around the track in a go-kart at the Raleigh International Raceway
  • Relax by the river enjoying a cheese plate and a glass of wine from Australia’s most easterly vineyard
  • Fire up the BBQ - along the river bank at Mylestom as well as by Urunga Lagoon & next to Anchors Wharf 
  • Have a game of lawn bowls
  • Slide around the water park at Raleigh
  • Listen to a band on a Sunday afternoon at the Oceanview Hotel or Mylestom Bowling Club
  • Play on the swings & slides - located at Mylestom River pool and Urunga Lagoon
  • Be creative - join a craft session run by Marilyn in Urunga Beach Plaza
  • Sit outside, enjoy the view & have a cappuccino
  • Enjoy the Surf, Sun & Sand
  • Catch a fish or two
  • Look for whales and dolphins - viewing platforms have been set up at North Beach & Hungry Head
  • Play a game of tennis – book at either Urunga Golf & Sports Club or Mylestom Bowling Club
  • Watch bees working at The Honey Place and taste their award winning scones
  • Hit a golf ball around the course at Urunga
